Project location: Julu road, Shanghai

The owner of the studio was a fashion designer who has a particular understanding of space and the aesthetic of her space. The focus of the project, was to organically combine complex functions that streched from designing to prototyping and eventuallty to the market, all taking place in the limited space with a tensive ceiling.
From the entrance, one could see the latest product being displayed in the window. A vistor could enter the showroom without inruding the working area. All these curves on the ceiling was the result of covering AC pipes, but to reserve as much height as possible. The island seperate the space into two for designers and crafters. Around the island there were fridge and microwave, shelves to store materials(can be extracted from inside and outside the storage room). It was the center of the communication between both areas.

Material: milky white paint, grey patched vinyl flooring, white IKEA prefabricated MDF cabinet system, linear pendent light, KANGER man-made stone, stainless steel hand made sockets and cabinet door panels, ultra white glass, quartz sink, customized aluminium door frame and handle.

一个繁忙的时装工作室，要满足设计、打版、打样、存货与出货、接待客户、模特走秀以及拍摄、饲养宠物等需求而相互能够协调共存，因此设计的重心是如何在管道密布的办公楼条件中最有效地利用空间。

入口走廊既是展窗也是服装走秀的后台。展厅与走廊的布局是空间条件与需求共通决定的，入口之后可以看到橱窗里展示的最新产品，客人可以直接进入展厅而无需进入工作区域，一进入大门就是弧形走廊上三扇方窗透出的就是展厅。设计师做新品发布，模特试走秀，服装摄影，客户会谈都发生在这个重要空间里。由于建筑管道的错综复杂，于是采用柔和的曲线加以中和。

办公区也是设计师与打版师的会议区。设计师与打版师沟通甚至用餐的区域就在二者之间的島台之上，是沟通空间功能的核心区域。走廊则由入口一直延伸过来，这也是模特走秀试衣效果的主场。岛台紧贴柱体，从顶部留下蜿蜒流动到地面。在岛台周围设置了饮水与冰箱，布料存储柜可从打版区域和仓库两端抽取。

材料： 奶白色塗料， 灰綠水磨石地膠， 白色宜家板式家具系統， 條形吸頂燈， 康爾人造石， 不鏽鋼自定製店員面板與櫃門， 超白玻璃，石英石洗手台與水盆，自定製鋁門框與把手。
