The key element been used in the series was imaginatively refined from cremation. Oil,bio-glue, ash and especially the ink produced from them, thus named "Dye ink" as a pun which indicated the ritual will be about dyeing, but also was a provocative project in order to speculate the mordern status-quo of dying and grieving.
Rain and umbrella as the metaphor of being covered in the shelter while grieving at the stage of depression. The participant could speak out and confess when being surrounded by the drips, the umbrella will be colored as the ritual processes, and finally become completely black in the end.

Material: birch wood handcrafted umbrella, 3D printed ink container, Japanese rice paper, ink, fire ash, hemp rope, latex.


生前所留之物多为后人挂念，也常被叫做 "the culture of material"。当今更有许多颇具创意的“信物”。这里的一系列仪式即以这样一种“信物”为中心-名为“Dye ink”的骨灰制染色剂，并对此假想产品进行了仪式设计。失落的时候需要安全的庇护，有时候表达不一定要有人的响应，耶路撒冷的哭墙，教堂的忏悔亭如是。是否可以做这样一把伞：人在雨中，随雨势渐大，雨伞从顶部开始逐渐被染黑，被雨水冲刷而去。这是一种氛围的营造，也是事实上心境的写照。
